Emergency responders were called to the scene of a traffic incident in Loyang after two vehicles collided, leaving one driver trapped in his lorry.

Paramedics and rescue personnel from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) attended the accident site and worked to secure the area. The trapped driver remained in his vehicle as rescue teams assessed the situation and prepared their equipment.

Using specialised hydraulic rescue tools, SCDF personnel carefully extricated the lorry driver from the wreckage. The driver was subsequently handed over to paramedics for medical evaluation.
