Low Ka Hoe named Netlink NBN Trust CEO-designate, takes helm in 2027

Low will transition into the position of CEO-designate effective November 10, according to an announcement by the trust. He will formally take over as CEO when Tong steps down next year, marking a leadership transition at the operator of Singapore's National Broadband Network infrastructure.

Low brings extensive experience from the telecommunications and engineering sectors. His previous roles at ST Engineering and Singtel have positioned him with deep knowledge of Singapore's digital infrastructure landscape and technology operations.

Tong Yew Heng has led Netlink NBN Trust since its inception and will continue in his current capacity through the transition period. The staggered handover arrangement allows for continuity in leadership while enabling Low to familiarise himself with the organisation's operations and strategic direction.

Netlink NBN Trust operates the nation's fibre optic network, providing wholesale connectivity services to internet service providers and other operators. The CEO role carries significant responsibility in overseeing the infrastructure that underpins Singapore's digital economy.
