The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board announced the opening of 8,750 slots for transport network vehicle service (TNVS) units across three major regions of the Philippines, marking a significant expansion in ride-hailing operations.
Metro Manila will receive the largest allocation with 7,500 slots, while the Ilocos and Bicol regions will share the remaining 1,250 slots.
