LTFRB Sets EDSA Busway Minimum Fare at P18 Per Journey
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has approved a new fare structure for the EDSA busway, with passengers paying a minimum of P18 for trips covering the first five kilometers.

MANILA — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced Tuesday the approved fare rates for the EDSA busway following implementation of the latest fare adjustment.
According to an LTFRB advisory, commuters using the dedicated busway corridor will pay a minimum fare of P18 for journeys up to five kilometers. The announcement came as the LTFRB moved forward with fare restructuring across the public transportation network.
The EDSA busway, a key component of Metro Manila's rapid transit infrastructure, serves thousands of daily commuters traveling along the major thoroughfare that connects several business districts and residential areas in the capital region.
The LTFRB continues to monitor transportation services and fare structures as part of its regulatory mandate to balance the needs of operators and commuters in the Philippines' transportation sector.
