MANILA — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has suspended the driver's license of an actor for 90 days following a vehicle crash that damaged multiple commercial establishments, the agency announced Tuesday.
The LTO issued a show-cause order and imposed the preventive suspension, requiring the actor to appear before the agency's Intelligence and Investigation Division regarding the incident.
The 90-day suspension prohibits the driver from operating any motor vehicle during that period. The measure takes effect immediately pending the outcome of the investigation.
The LTO's action follows its standard procedures for serious traffic violations involving property damage. Further investigation is expected to determine what additional sanctions or charges may be warranted in the case.
