MANILA — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has imposed a preventive 90-day suspension on the driver's license of a Parañaque City government worker over allegations of hazardous driving conduct that endangered another motorist.

The incident, which began in Don Bosco and extended through Annex 42 in Parañaque City, involved the city employee tailgating a female driver while repeatedly attempting to overtake using the opposite lane, according to LTO records.

The suspension is part of the office's enforcement action against traffic violations that pose risks to public safety. The LTO regularly investigates complaints of reckless driving and issues penalties to drivers who violate road regulations.

The case underscores ongoing concerns about road safety in Metro Manila, where congestion and aggressive driving remain persistent challenges. The LTO continues to remind all drivers of their obligations to follow traffic rules and maintain safe distances from other vehicles on public roads.
