Lucknow civic team attacked during cattle seizure operation

A civic team and police force came under attack in Lucknow's Buddheshwar area in Para police station jurisdiction while conducting a cattle-catching operation, leaving several personnel injured and damaging official vehicles. The assailants hurled stones at the municipal corporation staff and law enforcement officers, resulting in injuries to multiple civic employees and chowki-in-charge Vinay Patel among others. The violence also led to the destruction of windows in four government vehicles deployed for the operation. Despite the hostile reception, the team successfully captured 18 buffalo from the area as part of the ongoing stray animal control efforts. Preliminary investigations into the incident are underway to identify those responsible for the assault and determine the motives behind the coordinated attack on the municipal and police personnel.
