A social media post by the sister of Divya Mishra, who was killed in a double murder-suicide case in Lucknow's Gomtinagar locality, has surfaced with fresh claims about the circumstances leading to the tragedy. According to the post by Pragya, the victim had been living separately from her husband, Manas Bajpayee, due to his alleged psychological instability and disturbing behaviour. The family has suggested marital discord as a potential backdrop to the violent incident. Divya was shot dead outside a bank on the day of the incident, following which the accused allegedly travelled to his residence and fatally shot his sister, Sheeba, before taking his own life. The case has drawn renewed scrutiny into domestic relationships and mental health issues within the family, with investigators continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the triple tragedy.
