Madanapalle officials ordered to ready for HNSS water project

Officials in Madanapalle have been instructed to expedite preparations for the implementation of the Hindu Nagar Surface Scheme (HNSS) water supply project. The district Collector held an emergency meeting with representatives from irrigation and coordinating departments to review the status of ongoing work and address potential bottlenecks.

During the meeting, the Collector emphasized the need to finalize all preparatory measures immediately to ensure smooth execution of the scheme. Priority was given to identifying and securing water sources that will feed the distribution network across the region.

The Irrigation Department and other coordinating agencies have been tasked with completing their respective responsibilities within a specified timeframe. Officials stressed the importance of water conservation measures and proper infrastructure maintenance to maximize efficiency once the scheme becomes operational.

The HNSS project is expected to enhance water availability in the Madanapalle area, benefiting both urban and rural populations. Authorities have indicated that comprehensive coordination between departments is essential to meet project timelines and avoid implementation delays.
