Abhijeet Dipke, convenor of a grassroots political group, on Thursday called for the resignation of Maharashtra's School Education Minister Dada Bhuse, citing deteriorating conditions at government schools across the state. During a visit to a district school in Ujani village in Latur's Ausa tehsil, Dipke observed firsthand the infrastructure challenges facing students.

Dipke's remarks came as part of a recently launched campaign aimed at improving government school facilities. He alleged that many institutions lack fundamental amenities including proper classrooms, seating arrangements, functional toilets, and safe access roads. The activist claimed students in some schools were being treated worse than animals, raising serious questions about the quality of public education delivery.

Addressing reporters, Dipke questioned the accountability of elected representatives and senior officials for the state of schools. He argued that elected leaders must be held responsible for failing to provide basic necessities to students. The activist suggested that voters should reassess their political choices, asking whether they elect leaders only to see them travel by helicopter while schools remain neglected.

Dipke's campaign focuses on highlighting systemic failures in the government education sector and mobilizing public attention toward necessary reforms. The concerns raised reflect broader challenges in India's public schooling infrastructure, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas where resource constraints are most acute.
