The Maharashtra Board has released the official examination schedule for its SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) assessments scheduled for 2027, providing students and educational institutions with advance notice for preparation and planning. Class 10 examinations will begin on February 15, marking the start of the board's annual assessment cycle for secondary students across the state.
Examinations will be conducted in a two-shift format to accommodate the large student population appearing for state board assessments. The morning session will run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, while the afternoon shift is scheduled between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Each session will span three hours, allowing adequate time for students to complete their question papers in individual subjects.
The staggered shift system is designed to optimize examination center utilization and ensure proper invigilation across Maharashtra's numerous test centers. School administrators and students are advised to note the examination schedule and plan their study schedules accordingly. The board is expected to release additional details regarding specific subject-wise examination dates and admit card distribution timelines in the coming weeks.
