Maharashtra man's death ruled murder after initial accident verdict questioned
Police in Jalna, Maharashtra have arrested three people including a man's wife after his death, initially classified as a road accident, was reclassified as murder following a complaint from his father.

A 26-year-old man's death in Jalna district has been reclassified from an accident to murder after his father filed a complaint challenging the initial investigation findings. Shubham Wagh died in what authorities initially attributed to a motorcycle collision. However, following the elder Wagh's intervention, police reopened the case and registered a murder charge. Police investigations indicated that alleged romantic involvement of the deceased's wife may have been a motive in the case. Authorities have arrested three suspects, including Wagh's wife, and remanded them in police custody until September 30 as the investigation continues.
