The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the seat matrix for the NEET UG 2026 stray vacancy round, providing eligible candidates a final opportunity to secure medical college seats across the state. Students meeting the eligibility criteria can now submit their fresh college preferences through the official portal.

The choice-filling window for the stray vacancy round remains open until October 18, 2025. Candidates are advised to carefully review the available seats across various medical colleges before finalizing their preferences, as this represents the concluding stage of the admission process for unfilled positions.

According to the official schedule, the results of Round 1 of the stray vacancy selection will be announced on October 19. Students who are selected in this round will be required to complete their document verification and admission formalities within the stipulated timeframe.

Medical aspirants are urged to ensure they have submitted their preferences before the deadline, as no further extensions or choice-filling opportunities are expected. The stray vacancy round aims to fill remaining seats across participating medical institutions in Maharashtra through a transparent, merit-based allocation process.
