Major fire engulfs plastic manufacturing facility in Ghaziabad

A massive fire erupted at Nova Plast, a plastic manufacturing unit located in the Vijaynagar industrial estate in Ghaziabad, triggering a large-scale emergency response. The rapid spread of the fire has been attributed to the presence of raw plastic materials and other inflammable substances stored at the facility.

Firefighters from multiple stations rushed to the scene, with over a dozen fire tenders actively engaged in firefighting operations. The scale of the deployment reflects the intensity of the blaze and the challenges posed by the combustible nature of materials stored at the plant.

The Ghaziabad fire department is working to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to adjoining industrial units. Details regarding the exact cause of the fire, the extent of damage, and whether there were any injuries remain unclear at this stage. Further updates are awaited as the firefighting operation continues.
