IPOH, Sept 1 — Firefighters battled a major industrial fire that consumed nine factory lots in the Bercham 10 area along Persiaran Industri here on Sunday, with one man sustaining burn injuries during the incident.
The blaze broke out in the early hours and quickly spread across multiple factory units in the densely packed industrial zone. Emergency services responded swiftly to contain the fire, which threatened to engulf additional structures in the vicinity.
The injured man was evacuated from the scene and received medical attention for his burns. The extent of his injuries has not been disclosed. Fire officials are continuing investigations into the cause of the blaze.
