MANILA — The Office of the President has issued Proclamation No. 1427, formally establishing the list of regular holidays, special non-working days, and special working days that will be observed throughout 2027.

The proclamation provides the framework for national holidays, including traditional celebrations and commemorative observances scheduled across the calendar year. The announcement allows businesses, government agencies, and the public to plan accordingly for extended breaks and adjusted work schedules.

The dates for Islamic holidays, specifically Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha, will be determined and proclaimed separately following the confirmation of lunar calendar calculations. This practice aligns with established protocols for declaring Muslim holidays in the predominantly Catholic nation.
