Malaysia Airlines adjusts flight schedules for National Day festivities

Malaysia Airlines has announced schedule changes for several flights in late August due to planned airspace closures related to National Day observances. The temporary airspace restrictions will affect flight operations on multiple days throughout the celebration period.

According to the airline, airspace will be closed from 11 a.m. to midday on August 26 through 28, with additional closures scheduled from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on August 29 and 31. These restrictions are part of coordinated measures to facilitate National Day festivities across the country.

The carrier is working to minimize passenger disruption through rescheduled departures and arrivals during the affected periods. Malaysia Airlines advised travellers to check their flight status through official airline channels and contact the carrier directly for specific booking information.
