Malaysia, Bahrain deepen security ties ahead of major sporting event

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia and Bahrain have agreed to bolster bilateral security cooperation, focusing on joint efforts to combat terrorism and extremism in the region.

The security dialogue, held in the Malaysian capital, underscored both nations' commitment to addressing transnational security threats through closer coordination and intelligence exchange.
