PUTRAJAYA — Malaysia's Ministry of Health has cancelled the notification of cosmetic product GB Daily Glow Skin Cream following the detection of mercury in its formulation, exceeding permissible safety limits.

The health regulator took action to protect consumers from potential health risks associated with mercury exposure through topical application. Mercury in cosmetic products can cause serious health complications including neurological damage, kidney problems, and skin reactions with prolonged use.
