Malaysia invites Ethiopia to open embassy in Kuala Lumpur

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has invited Ethiopia to open an embassy in Kuala Lumpur, signalling Malaysia's commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties with the African nation. The invitation reflects efforts to deepen engagement between the two countries across multiple sectors.

As part of the initiative, Malaysia and Ethiopia have agreed to conduct their inaugural bilateral discussions in the capital next year. The planned talks are expected to cover areas of mutual interest and cooperation between the nations.
