Malaysia, Maldives to deepen ties in maritime security and halal trade

Malaysia and the Maldives are poised to strengthen bilateral relations through enhanced collaboration in several strategic sectors, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced during an official visit to the island nation. Additionally, the governments agreed to strengthen coordination in managing hajj pilgrimage arrangements for Malaysian and Maldivian Muslims, streamlining services and improving the overall pilgrimage experience.
