KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 — Malaysia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has activated emergency protocols to trace 57 Malaysian citizens who have lost contact following devastating floods that swept across Nepal. The ministry, operating under the name Wisma Putra, has established a dedicated taskforce working continuously to identify the whereabouts of the unaccounted nationals and determine their current status.
The search operation reflects growing concern over the impact of the natural disaster on Malaysians in the affected regions. Wisma Putra has appealed to the missing individuals and their families to make immediate contact through established diplomatic channels to confirm their safety.
