The commitment was made during high-level discussions in Putrajaya, reflecting both countries' desire to deepen people-to-people connections alongside economic and technical cooperation.

The bilateral agenda encompasses expanding commercial ties, fostering educational exchanges and exploring joint opportunities in the energy sector. Both nations recognize the mutual benefits of closer regional integration and have signalled their intention to implement concrete measures to advance these objectives.
