Malaysia's Higher Education Ministry charts five-year graduate employability drive

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia's Higher Education Ministry has launched an ambitious five-year plan designed to strengthen graduate employability and bridge the gap between academic qualifications and workplace requirements.

The 2026-2030 Graduate Employability Strategy represents a coordinated effort to align higher education outcomes with industry needs, according to the ministry. The initiative addresses persistent concerns about graduate job readiness and equips students with competencies demanded by employers across key economic sectors.
