PUTRAJAYA — Malaysia's government has committed to redirecting substantial sums recovered from illegal operations toward strengthening public health and education services, marking a significant reallocation of state resources toward social spending.
The initiative reflects efforts to maximise public benefit from enforcement actions against unlawful financial activities, with seized funds earmarked for healthcare infrastructure and educational institutions across the country.
Concurrently, the government has signalled its intent to reduce regulatory burdens on small business operators, aiming to stimulate entrepreneurship and ease compliance pressures on micro and small-to-medium enterprises.
