Yayasan Keluarga Malaysia is set to host its Larian Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family Run) event, expecting approximately 2,000 participants for the 5km race scheduled at Universiti Teknologi MARA's Shah Alam campus on December 5.
The foundation has organised the family-oriented running event as part of its fundraising efforts to support orphaned children currently under its guardianship. The event aims to combine fitness and community engagement while generating resources for the welfare of vulnerable youth in Malaysia.
The 5km run format is designed to encourage participation across age groups and fitness levels, making it accessible to families and individuals from the community. By bringing together a large number of runners, the foundation hopes to create awareness about its charitable mission while building community support for its programmes.
Yayasan Keluarga Malaysia provides care and support services for orphaned children across Malaysia, focusing on their education, health, and social development needs.
