Malaysia's Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has announced plans to investigate the management and implementation of the Pan Borneo Highway Sabah Phase 1 project. Committee chair Mas Ermieyati Samsudin said the inquiry would examine how the major infrastructure initiative has been handled and executed. The investigation comes as part of the PAC's oversight role in scrutinising government projects and public spending. Officials from the Ministry of Works and other relevant agencies are expected to be called to provide testimony and evidence during the proceedings. The Pan Borneo Highway project is a significant infrastructure development for Sabah, and the PAC's examination will focus on ensuring proper governance and accountability in its delivery.
