Malaysian rescue team awaits Nepal clearance to deploy

The Special Malaysian Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team (SMART) is ready to mobilise pending governmental authorisation from Nepal, according to Commander Abdul Manaf Che Isa. The team has finalised all necessary arrangements and equipment for deployment, with personnel prepared to depart at short notice once clearance is received from the Nepali authorities.
