Zahid Hamidi said that all coalition members have continued to conduct themselves professionally when managing government business, emphasizing that cabinet decisions remain made collectively by the Cabinet of Ministers. The comments seek to dispel concerns that the recent pardon has strained relationships within the multiparty administration.
The assurance comes as the government deals with questions about the royal pardon granted to Najib, who was convicted of corruption charges related to the 1MDB financial scandal.
