Mamata, Suvendu clash over Annapurna Bhandar welfare scheme in Bengal

The political tension in West Bengal escalated on Tuesday as Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and opposition BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari traded accusations over the Annapurna Bhandar programme, a state welfare initiative designed to provide subsidised food grains to eligible beneficiaries.
