Man Accused of Assaulting Restaurant Customer Granted Bail

Lai Kae Bin has been granted bail following his arrest in connection with an assault at a bak kut teh establishment in Kepong. He is among three individuals facing charges related to the incident, which allegedly resulted in serious injuries to a restaurant patron.

The alleged attack took place on May 7 at the dining venue. According to court documents, the three accused men are suspected of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm to the victim.

Lai's release on bail comes after his appearance before the court. The conditions and amount of bail have yet to be disclosed publicly. His co-accused remain in custody pending their own bail hearings.
