Man arrested for spreading doctored images of Kerala Muslim leader

Authorities in Kerala have arrested a suspect for allegedly distributing digitally altered images of Syed Sadikali Shihab Thangal, president of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) state unit. The morphed photographs were reportedly circulated through a WhatsApp group titled 'Nannambra Politics' along with offensive and abusive language directed at the political leader.

The complaint, filed based on information from IUML members, highlighted the circulation of the doctored images as part of what appears to be a coordinated effort to defame the senior politician.
