A 23-year-old man identified as Fardeen was arrested in Meerut after members of a Hindu organization conducted a raid at Hotel Ranjeet in the Sadar Bazar police station area on Tuesday. According to the allegations, the accused allegedly concealed his identity to establish a relationship with a minor Hindu girl and subsequently exploited her.
The case came to light following a complaint filed by the girl's family members. Police registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
