VALENCIA CITY, Bukidnon — Police discovered the body of a 34-year-old man in a rice field in Barangay Vintar on Saturday afternoon, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the death.
Sgt. Alnel Mark Salvacion of the local police said the victim was a fish farmer who regularly worked in the area. According to initial findings, the man had departed his residence in nearby Barangay San Isidro early in the day before being found deceased in the paddy.
Police have not disclosed further details regarding the cause of death or circumstances leading to the discovery. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine what occurred.
