Man fatally shot in broad daylight attack in Zamboanga City
A 40-year-old man was gunned down on a city street in Zamboanga City on Wednesday morning in what authorities are treating as a criminal incident. Police have launched an investigation into the killing as no suspects have yet been identified.

The victim, a resident of Barangay Lunzuran, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound to the head in Barangay Malagutay, according to the Zamboanga City Police Office. He was found lying beside his black motorcycle at the time of discovery.
The shooting occurred in the morning hours in what witnesses described as a busy area of the city. Responding officers secured the scene and began preliminary investigations into the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Police have not yet identified any suspects in connection with the killing. Authorities have appealed for information from the public that might aid the ongoing investigation. The motive for the shooting remains unclear at this stage.
