Emergency services were called to the wildlife park after reports of a man entering the tiger's enclosure. Despite rapid response efforts, the man was fatally attacked by the big cat and could not be saved.
Investigators are examining how the man gained access to the restricted area and why he chose to enter the enclosure. Initial reports suggest he jumped into the enclosure deliberately, though the full sequence of events remains under review.
The incident has raised questions about safety protocols at the facility. Wildlife parks typically maintain strict barriers and protocols to prevent public access to dangerous animal enclosures to protect both visitors and the animals in their care.
The wildlife park has cooperated fully with investigating authorities. Such incidents remain rare at regulated facilities across the United Kingdom, where safety standards for animal attractions are strictly enforced.
