Man killed in hit-and-run incident on LDP; driver sought

PETALING JAYA — A man in his 40s was fatally struck by a Proton Saga on the Federal Road (LDP) here on September 8, with the driver fleeing the scene.
Police responded to the incident and found the victim at the location. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have launched a manhunt for the driver of the silver sedan, who left the scene immediately following the collision. The circumstances leading to the incident remain under investigation.
Authorities are urging members of the public with information about the vehicle or driver to come forward. Witnesses or those with dashcam footage are encouraged to contact the relevant police district office.
