Man killed, wife injured as speeding SUV hits scooter in Greater Noida

A fatal road accident in Greater Noida claimed one life and left another injured on Wednesday when a speeding sport utility vehicle struck a two-wheeler. The rider of the scooter died at the scene, while his wife, who was a passenger, suffered injuries in the collision.
The accident involved a Mahindra Thar that was being driven at high speed when it struck the scooter. The impact of the collision was severe enough to prove fatal for the rider. Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a large gathering of onlookers.
Following the accident, the driver of the Thar abandoned the vehicle and fled from the location. Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are attempting to locate and apprehend the driver. The injured woman was taken to a medical facility for treatment of her injuries.
