A shocking incident of murder and suicide unfolded in Lucknow's Gomtinagar area when a man identified as Manas opened fire on his wife Divya Mishra outside a bank premises, killing her instantly. The violence did not end there as Manas subsequently shot his sister-in-law Seema before turning the weapon on himself.
Police investigations into the incident revealed that Manas had posted messages on his mobile phone's social media status, leveling accusations of infidelity against his wife. The posts suggested that marital discord and suspected betrayal may have triggered the violent outburst.
