Man sentenced to life, wife acquitted in major drug trafficking case

The High Court in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday convicted Faliq Amar Abdul Rahim of drug trafficking offences, imposing a life imprisonment sentence along with 24 strokes of the cane. The conviction relates to a significant quantity of cannabis totalling 226.5kg that was the subject of the criminal investigation.
