A motorcycle mechanic was killed following an attack at a repair shop, police said. The victim, identified as Manoj, had gone to the facility to service his bike when assailants surrounded and opened fire on him. Despite sustaining a gunshot wound to the abdomen, Manoj managed to contact his mother and a friend to alert them of the shooting before being rushed to hospital. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Investigators are examining the incident as a potential case of gang violence and old rivalry. Manoj had been released from jail approximately six weeks prior to the shooting, adding weight to suspicions that the attack was linked to past conflicts. Police have launched a murder investigation and are seeking leads on the assailants involved in the broad daylight assault.
