Man United's Carrick confident Red Devils can restore winning ways

Manchester United staged an impressive second-half turnaround to defeat AS Roma 3-2 in Rome, halting a frustrating run of matches without a victory. The English club fell behind by two goals before mounting a spirited comeback that ultimately secured three points in their continental competition.

The victory represents a significant lift for the Old Trafford outfit, who had struggled for consistency in recent weeks. The performance demonstrated resilience and attacking capability that supporters and management will hope signals a turning point in the campaign.

Carick, overseeing the club's affairs, used the result to reinforce his conviction that Manchester United possesses the quality required to challenge for major honours. The interim leadership has emphasised the squad's potential and suggested the setbacks experienced in recent matches do not reflect the club's true capability.

The win in Italy provides momentum heading into upcoming fixtures as United seeks to maintain the improvement shown against Roma. The club will be aiming to build on this positive result and establish a consistent run of performances that reflects its ambitions in both domestic and European competitions.
