The laddoo-eating competition drew significant attention at the Rural Olympics segment of the Tarnetar fair in Surendranagar, with Balvantbhai Raghuvanshi of Winchiya successfully defending his title by consuming 28 traditional sweets in half an hour.

Raghuvanshi's victory marks his second consecutive championship win at the event. The competition featured 28 participants spanning an age range from 25 to 75 years, demonstrating the broad appeal of the Rural Olympics initiative.

The winner was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2,000 for his achievement. The eating competition has become a popular attraction at the annual Tarnetar fair, which celebrates rural traditions and lifestyle through various sporting and culinary challenges.
