Manchester City maintains perfect WSL start with Brighton comeback win

Manchester City cemented their unbeaten record in the Women's Super League with a 3-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, demonstrating resilience as the home side mounted a second-half comeback attempt.

The match saw City establish an early advantage before Brighton rallied to make it competitive. Despite the visitors' spirited push in the latter stages, City's attacking prowess proved decisive in securing the three points.

The victory maintains City's perfect start to the season as they look to defend their WSL title. Chelsea remained in close contention, recording a convincing performance against Tottenham Hotspur to keep pace with the leaders.

Both clubs have emerged as leading contenders early in the campaign, with City's ability to withstand late pressure a key indicator of their championship credentials.
