The Manchester United manager has sought to downplay suggestions that speculation surrounding the club's future direction is impacting the team's on-field results. Despite a concerning run of nine matches without a win, he insisted players are maintaining their focus and dedication to club objectives.
The extended winless streak has raised questions about squad morale and commitment during what has been a turbulent period at Old Trafford. However, the manager countered assertions that external distractions are the root cause, emphasizing that the group remains professional and engaged.
The comments come as Manchester United continues to grapple with inconsistent performances in recent weeks. The manager's remarks suggest he believes the issues are tactical or execution-related rather than stemming from concerns over contract situations or managerial uncertainty.
United will look to break the winless run in their next fixture, with the manager having called for renewed intensity and commitment from his players moving forward.
