Manchester United manager faces injury crisis ahead of Champions League clash

Manchester United manager Eric ten Hag is confronting a deepening injury crisis that threatens to derail the club's campaign before it gains momentum. With seven players currently unavailable, the Red Devils face a significant challenge in their upcoming Champions League encounter against Como, a fixture that offers little room for further setbacks.

The accumulation of injuries has compounded what has already been a troubling start to the campaign for the English Premier League giant. Ten Hag has remained steadfast in his resolve, indicating he does not require reassurance regarding his position or the team's prospects despite the challenging circumstances.

The injury toll has stripped Ten Hag of key personnel at a critical juncture when squad depth and availability are paramount. The manager's ability to navigate this adversity while maintaining competitive standards in Europe will be tested against Como, a team United cannot afford to underestimate given their current vulnerabilities.

Manchester United's medical team faces mounting pressure to accelerate player recoveries as the fixture calendar shows no mercy. The club must balance immediate needs with long-term player welfare as it seeks to reverse its recent form and restore confidence within the squad.
