Manila Water provides emergency water supply to flood-stricken Pangasinan towns

Manila Water's Non-East Zone operating units Calasiao Water and North Luzon Water have launched an emergency response to address water supply challenges in flood-affected areas of Pangasinan province. Working alongside the Manila Water Foundation, the utilities directed resources to three municipalities hit hardest by the recent flooding: Calasiao, Malasiqui, and Sta. Barbara.

The initiative prioritized delivering safe drinking water to evacuation centers and affected communities as local authorities grappled with the humanitarian fallout from widespread inundation. The assistance came after provincial officials declared a state of calamity to mobilize resources and coordinate relief efforts across the region.

The collaborative effort between Manila Water's operating units and the foundation demonstrates the company's commitment to disaster response in its service areas. Officials did not immediately provide details on the volume of water delivered or the duration of the emergency assistance program.
