Police have arrested a couple from Manipur in connection with the death of a woman found aboard the Tamil Nadu Express, a major railway service connecting southern and northern India. The discovery was made on August 5 when railway staff located the body in the rear general compartment of the train at Agra.
Following the initial finding, investigators traced the accused couple to Manipur and coordinated with local authorities to effect their arrest. The couple is currently being transported to Chennai, where further interrogation and legal proceedings are expected to take place.
