Inilabas ng Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang dalawang kilometrong seksyon ng North Luzon Expressway na magkonekta sa Mindanao Avenue at Quirino Highway. Ang proyektong ito ay magpapabilis ng paglalakbay sa pagitan ng dalawang lokasyon.

Inaugurated by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday was the NLEX C5 Northlink Segment 8.2 Section 1A, a critical two-kilometer section of expressway linking Mindanao Avenue in Valenzuela City to Quirino Highway in Quezon City.
The newly opened segment dramatically reduces travel time between the two locations to approximately five minutes, compared to significantly longer journey times previously experienced by commuters. The project represents part of the government's broader infrastructure initiative aimed at improving metropolitan transportation networks and facilitating economic activity.
The opening of this expressway section is expected to alleviate traffic congestion along major Metro Manila routes while strengthening connectivity between the capital region and surrounding areas. Officials project that the infrastructure improvement will yield positive outcomes for commercial activity and daily mobility for millions of metropolitan residents.
