Haaland's early departure from the match at Portman Road has prompted concern at the Etihad, with medical staff conducting further assessments to determine the extent of the injury. Maresca indicated he is hopeful the issue will prove minor, though the club is taking no chances with their talismanic forward.
The striker's fitness will be closely monitored over the coming days as City prepares for upcoming fixtures. Haaland has been integral to Manchester City's campaign this season, and any extended absence would significantly impact the team's attacking prowess.
Maresca is expected to provide an update on Haaland's condition once diagnostic checks are complete. The injury came during what proved to be a hard-fought encounter against Ipswich, in which City secured three points despite conceding twice.
